I am Maxine Stein of Maxine’s Catering/Bittersweet Bakers. I have been providing the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas with beautiful, custom designed cakes and delicious desserts for the past 20 years for wedding, birthdays, bar mitvahs, and many other other special occasions. I have many years of professional experience working in the food industry at local restaurants like The Depuy Canal House, Chefs on Fire and Good Enough To Eat. I have worked for many years providing catering companies, restaurants and wedding venues with wedding cakes and desserts and specialty cakes for all occasions. I am known locally for the many specialty cakes I’ve baked throughout the years for many satisfied customers in the area. Designing a wedding cake is an important of a catered event. I work intimately with each couple to create a custom cake to satisfy a wide range of tastes. Using high quality ingredients including, butter, imported chocolates, fresh fruits and preserves I can create a cake that not only looks beautiful but tastes delicious too. My wedding cakes, the last thing your guests eat, will leave them asking, ”Who made the cake?”
