Elegant Effects, Inc.

We have used Elegant Effects for two weddings with very different venues. They did a fabulous job creating inviting environments out of either a large vacant tent in the back yard or a multi-room interior. The attention to detail is impeccable. They were very responsive to the brides' wishes and were a lot of fun to work with. The floral arrangements were spectacular and very creative, they have the vision and I stay out of the way. They are more than "florists" because the decorate the entire space taking care of lighting, tablecloths & napkins, table card displays while advising on colors and any other questions you might have. I would hate to plan a wedding without them by my side.

Elegant Effects did flowers for my wedding and rehearsal dinner. They had some great ideas and have such great taste! Everything was perfect and made both evenings beautiful.

Chris and Peter are brilliant and creative! They took a difficult reception area and transformed it magically into a beautifully lighted and flowered wonderland! They also LISTEN! Our Bride could have only one visit with them to get across her desires because she was coming only once before the wedding from Australia to Connecticut! They fulfilled all her desires and more! She particularly requested lighting a huge tree as one of her most important preferences and they turned that tree into a twinkling beauty! She requested a special Australian flower as part of the table decor and they found it and made it fit beautifully! The reception room was difficult to light, but they had floating candles at different heights on the tables to make the room sparkle! They are amazing!

Elegant Effects, Inc. could not have been more incredible to work with! Chris Lennon and Peter Stephens are not only talented, creative, and professional but they are truly wonderful people. There was never a worry in my mind that the arrangements would not be perfect and would be set and delivered on time. On your wedding day, that is exactly what you hope every vendor can provide. When I say that the most compliments we received were regarding the flower arrangements, I am telling the truth. We were thrilled that we were able to send our friends and family home with such gorgeous flowers to enjoy after the wedding. I have been and will continue to recommend Peter and Chris.

They made the process worry free from the engagement party to the wedding reception. They followed our theme perfectly, listened to our wants and then incorporated everything we asked for and more into the final product all while staying within our budget. The attention to the little details was amazing. We still look back at the pictures and see things for the first time. I have recommended Elegant Effects to two of my friends that have also used them for their childrens weddings.

Elegant Effects is the best florist! They made our wedding magical. Every detail was perfect. They were easy to work with, creative and extremely accommodating. They are more then florist, they are designers. We did not worry about one thing since they were in charge! We didn't see the venue until we arrived for our reception, but never worried. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. Their vision is outstanding. We did not know what to do for a winter wedding, black tie with black bridesmaid dresses but they did. They are the reason our wedding was so elegant and special.

The original proposal that Elegant Effects gave us was much higher than where we wanted to come in. They were very flexible in working with us to cut corners and made many great suggestions. A few weeks before the wedding they had us to their beautiful home to see the arrangement mock-up which was stunning. They had even picked out the perfect table cloth for us that we ended up using. Highly recommend working with them.

Peter and Chris were amazing! The flowers were exactly what I wanted and were stunningly beautiful. Peter was creative but listended to what we wanted and came up with a gorgeous vision. I could not have been more pleased with how the church and our reception looked. In addition, Peter was a pleasure to work with. He was fun, easygoing and responsive.
