Hudson Valley Ceremonies

I used HVC as my officiant service, as well as for my invitations. My husband and I first met Rev. Stuart at a bridal show, and we just knew he was the Right Reverend to marry us. We liked him right away. We are so happy we chose him, because during our ceremony, he made people laugh and cry! He gave an excellent ceremony. My friends and family were not only speaking of my wedding, but about Rev. Stu and the ceremony. They've said it was "like no other they've ever been to!" I met with Jeanne Starks as well. She is FABULOUS! We met at TGIF's to talk about my wedding, and she helped me decide on what kind of wedding I really wanted. We were there for 2-3 hours just laughing and talking, as if we've known each other for such a long time! When it came time to pick out invitations, I went to Jeanne's office. I was there for HOURS! She was so patient with me. She didn't seem irritated that I was indecisive. She wasn't frustrated that I was there for so long. She just kept showing me book after book after book! Together we found the perfect invitation, and came up with the perfect words to got with them! I absolutely was so proud of my invites. And, because we were using Rev. Stu as our officiant, we received 50% off another service (invitations). So, I got gorgeous invitations for a fraction of the cost!!!!!! I would always recommend and speak highly of Hudson Valley Ceremonies! Its by far the nicest, most professional, "best-money spent" business out there! I cannot thank them enough!

Great service and wonderful civil ceremony. I didn't even pick one b/c mine was an elopement at a Bed and & Breakfast and Jeanne picked a very lovely one. Jeanne made my husband feel so comfortable because he was very nervous before I came down.

Jeanne Stark was our officiant at our recent wedding, and Hudson Valley Ceremonies was our source for wedding invitations. Jeanne is such a smart, professional, warm, kind person. Having her as our officiant was as close as we could come to having a family member marry us. When we met with her to discuss our ceremony and to choose our invitations, she immediately understood the vision we had in mind, and made suggestions that were so perfect that we incorporated them immediately. Our wedding ceremony went seamlessly because of her clear planning and instructions that she gave us at our rehearsal. Everyone loved the invitations we ordered through HVC and said they were some of the most elegant they had seen. The printing was perfect and again, Jeanne advice really came in handy here in terms of choosing fonts that went well together, etc. HVC sent us reminder e-mails (not too many) about getting our wedding license, etc. Even though Hudson Valley Ceremonies provides lots of various wedding services (decor, etc), Jeanne never once tried to make a sales pitch on us, to try to get us to spend more. That was really appreciated! Our impression of Jeanne Stark and HVC are entirely positive and my new husband and I are happy to recommend her without reservation!

I used Hudson Valley Ceremonies for my rehearsal and day of coordinator. The day of my wedding there was a snow storm... in October. Needless to say the day was not at all what I planned it to be, including not me not being able to make it to our church for the ceremony because the roads were so bad. Jeanne and Sage were amazing through everything. They worked with my reception venue to have a ceremony space set up so that we could do an impromptu civil ceremony. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I did not have them there. Even before the snow hit, Jeanne was great. She followed up with all my vendors and provided them with a timeline for the day. She helped arrange transportation to the rehearsal dinner and provided supplies for our photobooth and cake cutting. I would and have strongly recommended them to my friends getting married.

Hudson Valley Ceremonies was wonderful to work with and Rev. Naomi Fay was outstanding. She was flexible and open-hearted and wrote for us the most beautiful ceremony that we could have imagined. We've gotten so much positive feedback about our ceremony and so many people have told us, "This was the most beautiful wedding we've ever attended." Thank you so much HVC and Rev. Naomi Fay for making our day so special!

Hudson Valley provided us with our officiant, Debra Ann Romano who did just a fantastic job from start to finish. We knew right when we met her that she was the right officiant for us. She was so nice and she was willing to totally customize our ceremony to our personalities. She worked with us a lot through email to get the entire ceremony perfect. On our wedding day she delivered the ceremony so beautifully, everyone in our families absolutely loved it. We highly recommend Debra if you are looking for an officiant for your wedding. Hudson Valley also worked with us to get a 50% discount on several of our wedding accessories such as our flower girl baskets, ringbearer pillow and also our invitations. They were so helpful throughout the entropy planning of our wedding. We can't imagine having done it without them.

Hudson Valley Ceremonies was so great with making my wedding so personal and special. They helped me order the save the date magnets and also y invitations. Both came out how i wanted them and was delivered to me very quickly. Jeanne Stark was my officiant and she did an amazing job. The ceremony was beautiful. she was such a big help with the rehearsal of the ceremony and on my wedding day! I would definitely use Hudson Valley Ceremonies again and recommend them to other weddings!

Naomi, our officient and Sage, our planner were amazing and so great and easy to work with. I cannot recommend Hudson Valley ceremonies enough, I have zero complaints. I almost wish I could get married again just to spend more time with them.

Absolutely wonderful people to work with.. this company helped us write an amazing ceremony that reflected our personalities, spiritual values and love for each other. Everyone at our wedding gave us tons of compliments on it! Debra Romano was our officiant. She met with us and made sure she understood who we are and what we wanted to convey in our ceremony. The value for your money is really amazing with this company-many officiants charge quite a bit more for a lot less. We were very happy with the entire planning process, which was made easy for us, and the final product. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an officiant!

He made our ceremony very personal and brought his own sense of style which many of our guests commented on. I would absolutely recommend them as a wedding officiant vendor.

We really enjoyed working with our officiant and she helped execute a lovely non-religious ceremony. She was professional yet friendly with a sincere warmth about her. Our families thought highly of her too; and many guests complemented us on the ceremony. I also want to share some advice/lessons learned for DIY wedding planning overall: We planned a DIY at home/yard wedding, which we feel was overall a great success, but in hindsight, we would have benefitted from engaging HVC planning services at least for the wedding day to help things run a bit more smoothly. It is fun to be hands on with the planning, but on the day of, the last thing you want to do is run a tight ship! We could've used some help, and I imagine HVC services would have been wonderful if the officiant is representative of their services overall.

Rev. Stuart is fantastic! He is very easy going and easy to talk to. My ceremony was perfect-short and sweet-just the way I wanted it. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone I know getting married!

Jeanne Stark and the team at Hudson Valley Ceremonies were incredible. Everything went smoothly because of them. They were somehow everywhere at once, but never felt in the way, and they really helped to keep things organized. They are friendly, efficient and very experienced. I highly recommend them for anyone needing a little (or a lot of) help with their wedding.

Reverend Stu was perfect! He worked with us to create the perfect ceremony. Throughout the planning process I never had any trouble getting in contact with him if I had any questions or concerns. We could not have found a better officiant for our special day!!!!!

Reverand Naomi Fay was a great officiant. We met with her once to discuss our ceremony and then we filled out a questionnaire about ourselves. From this information she was able to put together a perfect ceremony which was exactly what we envisioned but could have never created ourselves. She was very personable and had a very calming prescence. We had a lot of guests comment on how beautiful the ceremony was and how nice she was. We would reccommend Naomi to anyone and we are looking forward to having her perform a blessing for our baby sometime in the future.

HVS was a pleasure to deal with. I used Rev. Hickey as my officiant, and he was AMAZING!! He not only arrived early, and conducted a beautiful ceremony, but even stayed for an hour after, giving my husband and I time to take pictures before we had to sign the marriage license, due to the threat of rain. Rev. Hickey is extremely nice and professional, as is the HVS staff. I am so happy I went through them...a great decision overall!

We were so glad to find HVC and Jeanne Stark . We wanted to work with an organization that was as thrilled as we were with the passage of marriage equality in NY. They are wonderful to work with. We were very pleased with everyone’s professionalism and enthusiasm. The Reverend Jim Rooney did a wonderful job of quickly meeting us and giving us exactly the ceremony we wanted.
