Joseph Minasi Weddings

Joe Minasi was wonderful to work with. I found him very last minute on (gasp!) Craigslist, so I really didn't know what to expect, but once I watched his wedding montage videos I thought he was worth the risk, and I'm so glad I took it! I typically wouldn't even look on Craigslist for a wedding vendor, but it was less than a week before my wedding when I decided I really would regret not having a video record of that day. He responded to me within about 10 minutes of my emailing him saying that he was available - he probably wasn't booked yet only because I got married on a Friday. (Quick aside: for anyone who's still weighing the option of forgoing the videographer and just having photos, I would say definitely go for video if you can afford it. Even though I loved my wedding pics, the video just told an entirely different story.) When I got to the chapel on my wedding day, he was already there and had been gathering footage of the grounds and chapel. He got such beautiful footage and has a real eye for professional, emotionally poignant editing, and the music he chose for our videos - both montage and full length - was impeccable. What I loved most about him was that he seems incapable of producing anything cheesy. He is a real artist. I was also so grateful that he is such a calm and respectful person. The last thing I wanted was a pushy videographer who annoyed my guests, and I've seen plenty like that at other weddings. I was so happy with my wedding footage. He captured (and even created) so many beautiful moments. He also worked really collaboratively with my photographers, which is something I'm told not all videographers are good at! The only drawbacks I would mention are that the footage was a bit pricey (although not necessarily more than other videographers - I didn't do much comparison shopping due to the time constraint) and took a while longer to get to me than he first estimated. He had told me one month and I got the full video closer to 2 months after the wedding. However, he finished the highlight montage unbelievably quickly, so that really tided me over while waiting for the full version. At the end of the day, I was so impressed with Joe's eye, talent, and professionalism. Having this video to cherish for the rest of my life is well worth...

Joseph is a very professional and flexible person. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any type of event to be captured in a special way. He worked with us and out requests and managed to produced quality material in a short time.

Joseph was a true professional to work with. We decided last minute that we wanted a videographer for our wedding. After reviewing many portfolios, it was an easy choice to go with Joe. I met with him days before the big day so he could show me more work and go over any questions I had. He was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire night, and he worked extremely well with the photographers we hired. Our video compilation turned out better than we could have imagined!! His passion for his art is obvious. It's been a week after our wedding and we must admit that we are obsessed with watching the video montage. We love it. The montage is touching, artistic and beautiful. I don't know how Joseph does it, but he is able to capture all the key elements of our wedding. I can't possibly imagine a better videographer. I obsessively researched videographers (this was very important to my groom) and most of the quality ones were 5-7,000 dollars - way out of our budget! Joseph Minasi had such reasonable packages and our video came out beautifully. It was a true work of art - he has a skill for building emotion through video footage. He was a consummate professional and completely unobtrusive. Take a look at his sample videos, because I think his work speaks for himself. Highly recommended!

Joseph Minasi was BEYOND AMAZING and such a pleasure to work with. Considering the quality of his work, I was shocked at what a good price he was offering his services for...he's WORTH EVERY PENNY. When I received my montage, I probably watched it a good 30times, with tears in my eyes...the way he captured the event was breathtaking. And everyone agrees. I have gotten a million compliments, and so many friends of mine who are brides-to-be immediately wanted to contact him for themselves. They said mine looked like a movie for a fairytale love story. You can read all of his reviews you want, but my personal opinion is that his work speaks for itself. I am absolutely positive that he is going to do big things in this world, and I hope i have another big event that I can snatch him up for...because he really is that good. I hardly even knew he was at the wedding...quietly doing his thing, and magically capturing memories. A million thank-you's to you, Joseph, for giving me more than I could have imagined. My fiance and I were uncertain about having a videographer for our wedding. Hiring Joseph to film our wedding was hands down the best decision we made through the entire planning process. Joseph was early for all meetings and for the day of the event. He worked quietly in the background throughout the day, and ultimately put together a beautiful and moving depiction of our wedding day that friends and family are still raving about. I can't overstate how nice it is to be able to watch our 3- minute highlight montage and go straight back to that day whenever I want. The full-length DVD is head-and-shoulders above any other wedding videography work I have seen. I have no hesitation in giving Joseph Minsai Films my highest recommendation.
