I can't speak highly enough of Kelly Vasami! Not only is her work absolutely beautiful and she and her team of utmost professionalism, but she was an absolute pleasure to work with from the day I contacted her to potentially photograph our wedding straight through today as we (still) work on our album! She was extremely friendly and thorough in our meetings prior to the date, making sure she knew any important details of the day and made sure that we would be happy with what she captured. We were faced with a difficult situation - our original wedding date was August 28th, 2011 and two days before the big day, Hurricane Irene threatened the east coast with dangerous weather, forcing us to cancel the original day and postpone two months. Kelly was extremely flexible, helpful, kind and understanding as we understandably went through one of the roughest days of our lives attempting to piece an entirely new wedding together just before our honeymoon. When the new date finally arrived, Kelly was an absolute joy - everyone in both of our families commented on how kind and easy she was to work with - she is clearly great with young children and did everything she could to get our two year old niece's attention and keep her engaged for photos (thus inadvertently forcing most of the adults to hold back giggles as well!) When we received the proofs to review, we couldn't believe the quality and volume of options we received - Kelly was a great person to be around when we were interacting directly with her for formal and planned photos, but she and her assistant were so discreet and took such amazing observational/photojournalistic images that we don't even remember noticing them during our special moments! No request was too ridiculous and we were never once told no, and we go absolutely everything we wanted and then some by hiring Kelly for our wedding. We absolutely love her work and Kelly herself, and cannot recommend her highly enough for any future brides out there!

I first saw Kelly's work at my cousins wedding in NY. She blended right into the wedding, I hardly noticed her taking all the amazing pictures. But when I saw the final results I knew I had to have her photograph my wedding. Kelly traveled from NY to MA for my wedding and I was beyond thrilled with the results. I didn't worry about a thing. She got to my house and went right to work, I loved that when I saw the proofs I had no idea that she captured certain things and I was overjoyed that she did. You cant be everywhere at your own wedding but Kelly managed to be. Not only is Kelly an amazing photographer but I felt like I was working with a friend, someone I had know a long time. I also felt that her rates were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. I would use Kelly again…only this time for my baby!

Kelly was such a pleasure to work with before, during and after the big day. She really makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even during the formal shots, which can sometimes feel awkward. Kelly was AMAZING!! She has the most beautiful, artistic eye and photographed my wedding beautifully. I couldn't ask for more gorgeous shots and she picked up on the details that I missed on our wedding day. I couldn't recommend her more or speak more highly of her--she truly is phenomenal. We also had an engagement session included in our package and we got to know her during the session; those pictures are gorgeous as well!!

Awesome, amazing photos and quality of service!

Kelly photographed our October 2009 wedding, as well as an engagement session and a post-wedding session outside since it rained on our wedding day. She was easy to work with and takes gorgeous photos, especially of small details that many people might overlook. We were extremely happy with our wedding photos and would absolutely recommend her!

I absolutely loved working with Kelly from the first time my fiancee and I met with her to planning albums after the wedding. She was very organized with collecting all the information on important shots (ie family members, group pictures etc) which not all photographers ask specifically when talking to other friends of mine who are looking for photographers. She also didn't feel obtrusive to myself or my guests and she does great photo shop for little glitches (a hanger strap peeked out during my ceremony and she took that baby right out of the pictures we ordered!) She was prompt when responding to emails, phone calls etc and scheduling was never an issue. And I cannot say enough about all the details shots she got (flowers, favors etc) because it all goes so quickly, its nice to be able to really reflect on all those beautiful things all brides spend so much time choosing!

You wait your whole life for your wedding day. Then it comes and goes in the blink of an eye. Luckily, Kelly was able to capture all the precious moments in that quick blink. She asks you ahead of time what shots will be most important to you, and spends the most time capturing those moments in time. I love how she doesn't do much of the posed photography- just candid shots. The pictures are what you fall back on to recall the wedding day for the rest of your life, and she did an awesome job. She is amazing to work with. I recommend her 100%!

We hired Kelly to photograph our wedding in June of 2007. Our wedding was a small intimate ceremony in my parents' home. Kelly was so professional and totally fit in with the 10 people in attendance. She was open to all of my ideas and also took the initiative to stage many photographs with her wonderfully artistic vision. She even got my husband to take pictures and smile for real (which he never does). She captured so many wonderful moments with my family as well as took beautiful "traditional" shots. Kelly is extremely easy to work with and her photo-journalistic style really captures the essence of your event. Not wasting any time, my husband and I welcomed our daughter Kelly (what a great name) in August of 2008. Kelly Vasami came and took pictures of our beautiful baby girl as well as some family shots. She was patient and loving with our two month old daughter and took so many wonderful shots that it was hard for us to choose just a few. If you check out her blog you can see some of them. Our goal is to have Kelly come back every year to photograph our family. She makes everyone feel comfortable and her pictures are truly beautiful.
