I loved, loved, loved my make up and my girls' make up. She did an outstanding job.

I'll talk first about the talent of Karen and Shoshanna (the hair person). My make-up and hair WAS EXACTLY what I wanted. My aunt who has 3 daughters all of which are married, said I was the most beautiful bride she has ever seen! My husband even commented on how natural and beautiful the make-up was. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful hairstyle. Shoshanna recreated the picture I gave her and did so right there on-site. I am so happy with the results, I plan to book Karen for a "Girls Night" and ask her to do make-up lessons for us! Okay, as for the responsiveness, professionalism, flexibility and value: Karen is so approachable, and will contact you with a response within 48 hours. She is professional, organized and confident. As a bride these traits are priceless. Karen and Shoshanna eased all anxiety I had. I knew they would show up and do an amazing job. I trusted them. They did what they said they would and I looked amazing! To further speak of Karen's professionalism, there was a bit of confusion regarding the balanced owed and when i approached her with my confusion, it was handled in an incredibly professional manner. Value: Admittedly, I shopped around. I do not have a great hairstylist that I go to religiously. I am so glad that I went with a non-salon affiliated person. I felt like the treatment I received was so personal and worth every penny! Flexibility: Karen & Shoshanna were willing to do whatever I requested! They both contributed so much to the best day of my life!

Karen was great! I'm not from the area, so we were unable to do a trial run for hair and makeup. But it was not a problem as Karen is a whiz with make-up and her hairstylist partner was unbelievable. We had a rather large wedding party but they were able to accommodate everyone and finish right on time! I loved what Karen was able to do with my make-up, I had no idea I could look so great! All of the girls looked fabulous. I ended up even buying some of her makeup (she offers a touch-up kit) because I loved it so much, I still use the make-up every day! Her hairstylist Shoshonna was amazing, I couldn't believe the beautiful creations she did on me and my girls right on the spot. Highly recommended!

I am so glad I chose Karen for my wedding. Every bride wants to look perfect on their wedding day, and I was no exception. Karen made me look like the perfect bride. I loved my wedding day look! Her hair person was amazing too, they did my whole wedding party (hair and makeup) and everyone looked beautiful! Karen always responded to my calls and emails promptly and was so nice and fun to work with. I knew right then at my makeup trial that I made the right choice with LaV Beauty. I highly suggest working with Karen. She listens to what YOU want, is reliable, so nice and really talented.

I met laV at a bridal show and set up a consultation following. Karen and Shashana were great to work with. They came to us the morning of the Wedding and put together hair and makeup for the whole bridal party. We let them do their thing and we each had unique styles that worked great. Great conversation all morning, too :)

Karen is wonderful to work with. She is what every bride to be needs! She is very personable and professional. LaV really works with each bride to give them what they are looking for. Her makeup skills are amazing. I'm glad I finally found someone who I truly trust.

Karen had quite the job with my bridal party of 12 girls PLUS me, my mother and my mother-in-law to be!! She was such a great deal of support when I needed it most- both BEFORE and ON the big day! She is worth EVERY penny and someone in my bridal party actually booked her for their wedding!!

Karen was, BY FAR, my most professional vendor. She loves what she does and is good at it. Beyond that though, she made me feel understood. From scheduling to the trial day on down to the wedding day she was an absolute treat. My mother and I spent a morning with her at her house for our trial day last summer. She opened up and made us feel special and beautiful, it's a very special memory for my mother and I from the planning process. On my wedding day it was Karen who put me at ease. It was raining buckets but she kept things lighthearted and helped create a great atmosphere for us to get ready in together. In a way, she made the rain go away (even though it NEVER let up for a minute that day). She also made me feel like I was the most beautiful woman on earth, as every bride should feel on that special day. She's someone I keep in touch with and am happy to call a friend today! I STRONGLY recommend her for your big day! OH and she has her own full line of products and they are AWESOME. I use them to this day and will only wear her lipstick! (my mom too). Karen is a true artist, a professional and a girl's girl!

It might seem odd that (as I write this review) Karen has received perfect marks. Seems too good to be true, or that she's only asked friends to write the reviews. I can only give my personal experience, and by that, she deserves every one of these stars. I had never met her, she was a referral from the stylist who did my hair for my wedding, and she is an absolute professional and a really great person on top of that. I barely ever wear makeup, so I was definitely not in my comfort zone, and she understood that right away and put me at ease within minutes. She has tons of experience so was able to help me understand all about why makeup needs to be done a certain way, for pictures and light and viewing, but she was also able to do the makeup in a way that up close, it still looked really natural and beautiful. My wedding pictures look fantastic as a result. Her products are also absolutely professional and comfortable and long-lasting - I barely needed any touch-ups during the whole evening. It was such a pleasure meeting and working with Karen. She did a fabulous job teaching me what makeup to use and how to use it. She made me beautiful for my wedding day and the rest of the year with her wonderful makeup and many, many helpful tips.

I don't wear a lot of makeup so I wanted a look that was natural but would last the whole afternoon/evening without feeling heavy/caked on. Karen did a fantastic job, made me feel really relaxed during the 'wedding day madness' and I loved the way I looked!! Now I only use laV products.

I highly recommend using Karen from LaV Beauty. Her prices were extremely reasonable and she did a fantastic job. She was very flexible and able to come to my house the day of the wedding even though it was over an hour drive. I loved that a trial was included in the price for the bride so that I would feel more comfortable the day of the wedding. All the girls in my wedding party including myself were very happy with the outcome of their makeup and everyone looked very natural!

Karen Schrowang is TOP-NOTCH when it comes to professionalism, responsiveness and technique. It has been five years, and I still absolutely love looking at my wedding photos! As a matter of fact, I still use her products!!! I'd searched years for quality makeup and finally found it with LaV. Karen still handled my wedding just a week after having a baby!! Now that is dedication! She came recommended from a friend, and I recommended her to my sister-in-law. I still get my make up from her...which I order on line and gets sent right to my door. It doesn't get any better than that!!
