Luigi's bakery

If this is the same luigis thats in bridgeport then I can review this bakery. the cake came with our package so i just went with them and paid $220 more for fondant and canoli filling. they were cool with me changing the style of my cake but im a big cake person and i expect with a reputation like theirs the fondant would be perfect, well it wasnt it was cracking and dropping which pissed me off. I tasted the cake and it was delicious but i did get some complaints that it tasted stale and old. the rhinestones and flowers in my cake made it! without them the cake would have looked like sh%t. not acceptable. but you ALWAYS get what you pay for!

From the moment we sat down with the owner we new everything was in good hands. The bakery is very friendly and accomadating. They were able to meet my expectations and I was thrilled when I got to see it at the wedding/

Had an unusual cake for wedding, choc. with choc. frosting and stawberry filling. All we heard was "that is the best cake we ever had at a wedding"! They were the best people to work with, as I changed my mind several times until we finally decided to go for the milk choc. frosting and so glad we did!! So happy we chose Luigi's they are the best!

Frank at Luigi's was great. What can I say? He's a Cowboys fan like me! Even though our cake too was included in our venue package, Frank made it personal as if we paid for it ourselves, he took my design ideas and incorporated it into one and it was good and guests complimented the design. We had a venetian table we paid for additionally which our guests just loved! He gave us good deal on it and we only had a small tray of about 15 treats left over to take home after our 100 guests devoured them.

Our cake was included in our wedding venue package, but the cake was excellent. There were so many options for cakes, fillings, and designs. The cake looked just like I had wanted when it came. Most important it tasted great!!

We sat down and talked to Frank at Luigi's Bakery and he gave us a good idea of what the options were for our wedding cake which was included in our package through Anthony's Lake Club. Not wanting just any old cake design, he let us take a few of the shapes and designs and combine them together to make a beautiful and delicious strawberry shortcake wedding cake that everyone enjoyed!

Our cake was really delicious! Probably the best wedding cake I have ever had. They were flexible to work with the florist to put flowers on my cake and I had no trouble having it delivered. The only problem we had was they suggested a much bigger cake then we needed and we wound up throwing alot of the cake out, which was a waste of money. But overall we were happy with the purchace.

My wedding cake from Luigi's bakery turned out wonderful.The cake was delicious and was a hit at our wedding.We loved the way it was decorated with all the flowers.It was still moist and rich flavored on the day of our wedding.It was a delight to work with the staff at Luigi's and I will be back for more cake!

Our cake not only looked beautiful, but tasted great. We worked with Frank and he was great. He made the whole process of picking a cake easy. The only difficult part was picking the cake flavor, every one tasted great.

Our wedding cake was a customized shape and idea mixed with designs and ideas from past cakes from the bakery. The head of the shop was very reasonable and friendly with us. His professionalism was excellent, top notch. You could tell immediately that he knew what he was talking to us, providing objective and logical insight and advice to wedding cake design, taste and structure based on my husband and my needs and wants. After doing a questionnaire with us, he picked out first shot the perfect wedding cream for the topping of our wedding - we didnt even have to taste test anything else. It was exactly the texture and flavor I wanted. After that, the rest was so easy with designing our customized cake. The cake tasted fantastic - everyone who took a bite was in love!! I was in love and so was my husband. We're going to revisit them again for our 1-year anniversary for a brand new miniature replica of our original wedding cake. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Luigi's cake made our wedding! It was so beautiful and tasted so good! They are so flexible that it's hard to choose what design, color, flavor, etc... but the staff is so helpful and they make it so easy to find your PERFECT cake! This was definately one of the funnest parts of planning my wedding and the end result was AMAZING!

I had an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS Cannoli Cake. The owner was amazingly nice and creative and really responded to what I thought and felt I wanted and was creative. DO NOT be thrown off by the tacky decor of the place. It is an OLD Italian bakery..AMAZING..SIMPLY AMAZING.

The cake was inclluding in my wedding package so i really cant say much about the price, however, the cake was delish and they were willing to give me full size samples of any flavor i wanted. they were so flexible.
