Misty Enright Photography

I would highly recommend Misty! She is easy to work with and makes you feel like you've been friends for so long. She has a relaxed and laid back attitude but also can take charge when needed! She has fun and creative ideas and her pictures come out beautifully! She was recommended to us by family friends whom had used her and we booked her without talking to any other photographers. Just from meeting her once we knew she would be perfect! We got married on the hottest day of the year, which was difficult for pictures, but Misty was on top of her game and made sure we got the pictures that we wanted! We can not say enough about how great she is as a photographer but also as a person!!

Misty was such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day and the days leading up to it. She was very attentive to everything that was going on and i appreciate the fact that she made sure we got the majority of the photos that we discussed before the day since i feel like the actual reception lasted for 5 minutes rather than 5 hours. I would highly recommend Misty to anyone looking for a wedding photographer that has a very artistic and beautiful eye...I am so pleased with everything i have seen from her and i will certainly treasure our wedding day photos for years to come

I met Misty at one of the Bridal Expos with my sister, who was my maid of honor, and we were immediately drawn to her work and warm personality. My husband and I met with Misty shortly there after and made the decision to have her photograph our wedding and we are so happy that we did. Misty took the time to get to know both of us and talked extensively with us about our wedding day and what we expected. One thing that we really liked right off the bat was how Misty made sure to be personally involved in our day - in that I mean she wanted to know about our family, friends, and relatives so that she knew who to photograph and what was important to us. Misty was always available to answer any and all questions and concerns that I had and made herself available to come to us (we live in Hartford) from Stamford. We did an engagement session with Misty in Elizabeth Park in Hartford in June and Misty also came up to Hartford over the summer to check out the reception site and scope out the surrounding areas for the big day. One of my biggest concerns was not having enough time to take all of the pictures that we wanted because we had our ceremony in the morning and reception 1/2 an hour away shortly after - (poor planning on my part but ended up working out perfectly!!) Misty made herself available to spend about an hour after the reception with us to take pictures of my husband and I and it was perfect and when we actually got the best pictures. Misty spent the night before the wedding in the town we got married in and actually had breakfast that morning with my father. She is just so friendly and calming and I trusted her. For one person she was able to get pictures of everything that we could have wanted and our friends and family felt like they knew her as well after the wedding though she is not intrusive and blends in as much as someone can who is taking pictures! The pictures are amazing and I couldn't have asked for more. Everything Misty did went above and beyond my expectations - she was the perfect match for my husband and I and I would highly recommend her (and have) to any couple looking for a wedding photographer.

My husband and I met Misty through my hubands brother. She was their photographer for their wedding 2 years ago. When we met Misty at their wedding I was so impressed with her. She was so friendly to everyone, very professional. She was the only one there who could help us get the mens flowers pinned properly on them!When it came time for our wedding I didn't have to think twice about giving her a call. She was very professional, helpful and prompt at returning our messages and answering our many questions.When our day came she actually made me enjoy having my picture taken. I wasn't looking forward to a bunch of pictures but it turned out to be a wonderful time.She arrived to my home early and ready to go! When applying my makeup she was an essential part in determining if the color was enough or too much. I was cautious to apply my own makeup but Misty put me at ease by telling me what more needed to be done.Misty is so passionate about her work. She would stop us as we were walking because the light was just right and she needed to get just one more shot. Then she would show us on her camera how it came out. Which, needless to say, was beautiful.It was great to have Misty come back into our family at our wedding. It was like a reunion. Let’s get down to brass tacks here and lay it out there, Misty Enright is fantastic. Sure, you can see that by scrolling through the photographs on her site, but even the artistic images she has posted cannot say enough about the quality work she does.In all honesty, I am not generally a photogenic man, and neither my wife nor I enjoy the spotlight of being photographed. We were nervous to have engagement photos taken. We were nervous when the shoot started. But what made Misty Enright stand out to us was the way she eased our concerns, and brought out the best in each of us to capture great photos. She talked to us, let us be ourselves and put us at ease—so much so that it really didn’t feel like we were doing anything but just hanging out with someone who happened to be taking pictures.I think anyone who is fortunate enough to book Misty gets value, quality and a high standard of professionalism with which she doesn’t just snap good pictures—she brings out the best in her photographs. Thank you again Misty for giving us a great experience and great pictures.

We could not have been more pleased with Misty. We were impressed with her from the beginning and our impression improved the more we worked with Misty. She is extremely easy to get along with, has a warm personality which puts you at ease and she is a constant professional.
