We had DJStevie for my daughter's sweet 16 on January 7th. It was a huge success! The kids were up dancing the first song and did not sit down to the last song. The dance boxes and plasma TV were a huge success. Thank you for an excellent job!

Steve did a truly amazing job for our wedding! He helped us to put a mix together for our first dance and was great with making last minute changes to the song, several times, and always so quick with each change. He always responded quickly and was truly a pleasure to work with! He uses top of the line equipment including wireless uplighting, which was not even available from any other DJ we met with. He was an amazing DJ and had everyone out of their seats dancing! We would absolutely recommend him to all of our family and friends!Meagan & Bryan

It was really great having Steve be our DJ at our wedding. He was honest with us about what he does at weddings and to trust him. We did and he played most of the music we picked but also read the crowd and played music that everyone loved. Our guests were always on the dance floor. Steve was also very flexible when arranging meetings and responsive to my emails. His set up is very professional and modern. Our guests had very good things to say about our DJ and liked him very much. I recommend Soundsational DJ to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

Steve was an adamant professional at every step of the planning process for my August 14th wedding, and incorporated all of our wishes into our ceremony and reception. We wanted a DJ that wasn't "hokey" or overdone - no one handing out silly hats, playing inappropriate songs or being pushy to get everyone on the dance floor. Rather, Steve relied on his prowess as a DJ to keep our guests entertained and encouraged participation from all ages. I would definitely recommend Soundsational Entertainment to anyone!

What went wrong:1. He never played our walkout song – he just continued playing the bridal party entrance song as he announced us.2. He messed up our first dance song by playing the wrong version, which cut off early – we still had a full minute of choreographed dancing left to do. Our first dance song was a blend of two songs – the first part of the song was a slow song and then halfway through that song it was supposed to break out into a different/faster song that we had a choreographed salsa dance for. We approved Steve’s mix of the two songs about two weeks before the wedding via email. He made a perfect blend of the songs on his second try – instead he played the song from his first attempt that cut off a minute too early. We asked him to make an announcement at the end of dinner that “the bride & groom had unfinished business” and play just the portion of the faster 2nd song so we could do our choreographed dance. He had deleted the correct version of our first dance, so I had to leave the reception to go get my iPhone in the bridal suite so that he could use the sound file that he had emailed to me. I’m glad we still got to finish our dance, but it unfortunately it was a little anticlimactic because we already obviously had a breakout song and that surprise was totally ruined.3. He forgot about the bouquet giveaway. In lieu of a bouquet toss, I did the anniversary dance with the intention of presenting my bouquet to the couple that has been together the longest (knowing that my 90 year old grandparents who have been married for 64 years would win). I was standing on the side of the dance floor, holding my bouquet, and waiting for Steve to either make the announcement himself or hand me the microphone - I was only about 6-8 feet away from my grandparents and the DJ (and I was the ONLY other person on the dance floor). Steve congratulated them on 64 years of marriage AND THEN WALKED AWAY. I literally had to run after him while yelling “wait wait wait” and he didn’t hear me until he had made it all the way to the other side of the dance floor. He gave me the microphone and I made a quick announcement about the bouquet giveaway, which my grandparents didn’t even hear because they were already starting to sit down at their table. It completely ruined the moment.4. We asked him to play (exclusively) Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and big band music during dinner. He played oldies instead and only mixed in 3 Frank/Dean genre songs. What he did well:1. He did abide by our must play & don’t play list.2. The dance floor was packed and he played great music during the dancing portion of the reception.3. Our best man told us about 5 days before the wedding that he was doing a slideshow during his speech and that he picked out two songs that wanted the DJ to play as background music during the slideshow. I emailed Steve about this and he was able to make it happen – even with the last minute notice. (Although he did play those two songs in the reverse order of how they were requested.)Overall, I think that he was unprepared for our wedding, and wasn't overly concerned with what we wanted. He was great with the music selection for dancing, but the mistakes that he made were big ones. As a result I would not recommend using this DJ service.

DJ Steve Vittoria was absolutely awesome! Nick and I wouldn't have had anyone else DJ our wedding. He made it personal and sweet, and kept our guests on the dance floor all evening! He was easy to reach, super easy to talk to, and was a phenomenal MC for our reception. :-) I would recommend his business and services to any bride for her special day.

I could not have asked for better entertainment for the biggest day of my life. Soundsational DJ Entertainment was professional, entertaining, and got EVERY single person at my wedding on the dance floor. The coolest part was that he is a DJ, not just someone that plays music. It wasn't just song after song, there were transitions and they were flawless! I even threw him a couple of curve balls with different announcements, and everything went off without a hitch. He was so in tune with what my guests wanted to listen to, that he was not only able to get them on the dance floor but keep him there all night! I was on the dance floor the entire night with my guests. I couldn't believe how quickly the 5 hours went, and wished we had 5 hours more so that I could dance even longer! I even had to greet my guests on the dance floor because they wouldn’t sit down they were having too much fun! The morning after all I heard was BEST WEDDING EVER!... It’s because of the DJ. I HIGHLY recommend Soundsational DJ for any wedding or party it was the BEST day of my life. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Steve was amazing! Since day one, he sounded excited to dj our wedding. He was very professional, showed up early to set up and test the equipment. He offered great ideas about song selection and incorporated our theme when making such choices. His knowledge of music is vast. His sound was great, loud on the floor, but also still able to hold a conversation at the tables. Since he also works for our local radio station, we were confident he knew how to mix the music...which was awesome. People were on the floor all night! His plasma package (lights/tv screens) were great too. He normally gathers pictures from the bride and groom for a slideshow, however my cousin had made one and he was flexible and played hers instead. Also, the manager at our site enjoyed this dj himself and asked him for a card, which he told us he doesn't normally do. Definetly book this dj, you can't go wrong.

SoundsationalDJ did an awesome job at our wedding! We provided DJ Steve with a short list of guidelines of what we wanted but left most of the decisions up to him, and he provided us with a perfect party. It was even better than I knew it would be! Everyone had such a great time! It was because of the music, since everyone related to it, there was such a big crowd dancing all night. It was the perfect mix!

I would like to say that Steve did an OUTSTANDING job and was very professional! My husband and I were Married October 3rd, 2010 at Stonehedge Restaurant in West Park NY and Steve did such a good job that people outside in the parking lot were dancing just attending the restaurant for dinner. He played everything perfectly, the Bridal Party introductions, and everything else was announced perfectly and the Ceremony music was played BEAUTIFULLY! I highly recommend Steve and Soundsational DJ Entertainment for any Bride and Groom looking for an affordable, fun, outgoing, professional DJ for their wedding!! If you like someone who’s down to earth, easy going, then this is who you want. Soundsational Entertainment helped us the whole way from helping us pick songs to helping us find out what will work for everyone. The biggest thing we liked is you sit down with the owner Stevie and the day of the event you don’t get some young kid, you get Stevie, he handles everything him-self from day one. He knows a lot about all the different kinds of music, different style events, how to announce your party even when its tough he'll help you through it. He has all the newest top of the line gadgets. My husband doesn’t like to dance but he was on the floor all night long. Soundsational Entertainment is truly the best. The next event we have to plan and need a DJ we will defiantly be using Soundsational Entertainment.

Steve wasn't available which was a shame, so he had Oni who works with him DJ for us. Everything went well except for the one thing - halfway through the first dance song, it stopped - leaving us silent and dead on the dancefloor - it then changed to some fast song, before replaying the first dance song again from the start. It was so awkward and the one thing that shouldn't be stuffed up. This is what drove down our quality of service rating. Otherwise everything ok.

best decision ever was hiring this DJ, he was everything I expected and more!

DJ Steve met us at a convenient location to discuss his services. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. He took the time to ask questions to get a sense of our personal stye. Although we had a pretty clear vision in our heads on how our special day would be, DJ Steve helped us on some grey areas. He provided guidance in making decisions, never did we feel any pressure. He was quick to respond to my e-mails and/or phone calls. DJ Steve provided music for our ceremony as well as our reception. He kept the party going and our guests enjoyed all the music played. DJ Steve looked and acted very professional at all times. We never thought we could afford a DJ as good as Steve but his prices were very reasonable.

Steve was our DJ at our wedding on 05/16/10 and he was great! We could not have asked for anyone better. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Guest that were at our wedding are still talking about how good of a dj he was! We would highly recomend to anyone that is looking for a good, professional, honest and fun DJ! We used Soundsational for our May 1,2010 wedding at the Poughkeepsie Grand. We don't have any complaints about him from the moment we booked him over a year ago until our wedding day... If I had any questions at all I emailed him and got a response in a very timely manner. He was very professional at our wedding.. the dance floor was full the whole reception and everyone had a great time. We would recommend Soundsational to any of our friends needing a Dj!! Hi, Steve How are you?I just wanted to let you know that not only are you an honest and kind person (I am good @ picking up on those kinds of vibes. Lol.) But the best D.J. I have ever heard. Not only Your professionalism while working but how you made my daughter Alexandria’s “Sweet Sixteen” so enjoyable that no one wanted the party to end. Weeks after the party, when I would see Ally’s friends @ different school functions they would come up to me to thank me and tell me how much fun they had. I know how difficult it is when teenagers are all together to get a party going. Everyone usually waits for that first person to break the ice, get up, and dance before they begin to dance in fear of not being “cool”, but you had everyone going right from the very beginning until the end.
